- What or Who Inspires You from the Past?
- I would have to say President John F. Kennedy was an inspiration to me. I was old enough to be aware of all of the controversy over his religion and how it affected people. When he was elected it was obvious that he was different...people saw the Presidency differently...it was more energetic and youthful. And, when he was assassinated, it had such a profound affect on me! He made me want to do something for my country and it was at least one of the major reasons why I chose to enlist into the US Air Force and serve my country.
